Two Cases of Vaginoplasty in Mayer-Rokitansky-Ku¡§ster-Hauser syndrome

Abstract
The Mayer-Rokitansky-Koster Hauser syndrome is one of interesting anomalies of genital tract because of normal female secondary sex characteristics, external genitalia, tubes, ovaries, cytogenetics and endocrine status in association with congenital absence of vagina and a rudimentary uterus.
Since the first reported attempt by Dupuytren in 1817, a variety of procedures to create new vagina have been suggested but the vaginoplasty described by Mclndoe has been believed to supersede the other operations.
The Mclndoe vaginoplasty was performed in tWo cases of Mayer-Rokitansky-Koster-Hauser syndrome, resulting in successful anatomical function and satisfying perception.
